Vibration on left hand turns after camber kit install
I recently installed a skunk2 camber kit on my car and have noticed a hard vibration on left hand turns while accelerating out of the turn. My most recent modification was the Skunk2 camber kit. I installed the kit such that it adds castor (left on right and vice-versa). My car isn't too low, 2 fingers between tire and fender. I had the camber set at -2, where w/o the kit it was at -.7. I think one of the axles is binding up in the inner joint, but it only happens on left hand sharp turns (like at auto-x). Any ideas where I can start looking? (BTW, I have tried a different driver's side axle and it does the same thing.

better be careful.
some members here that have added castor have had almost immediate axle/cv joint failure.
i would check the alignment of your axles and cv joints. they don't like to be forced into angles.
i think that the racers reported feeling a vibration just prior to the total failure of the axle. not cool.
good luck

My castor is near 4 on the right, 3.7 on the left. I have the Z10 bars, I can push them back a 'little', but I didn't have any problems when I swapped the stock arms left to right a year ago. The driver axle is brand new, the passanger about 1.5 years.
Thanks for the help guys. Anyone else with helpful hints or suggestions?

What platform is this car? I know 92-96 Preludes don't allow the UCA swap because they introduce too much caster, and put your axles at uncomfortable angles like Todd was saying. I've heard that for different reasons, the upper arm swap is undesirable on 88-91 Civics (and 90-93 Integras).
I drive a DC2 Integra, which is basically a long wheelbase 92-95 Civic. The arm swap works great.

I installed the camber kits also and have the same vibration on turns. Do you feel it though the whole car or just your steerig wheel? How are the ball joints on them, I know mine are completely broken and fell out.

I feel it through the car, but I have motor mount inserts, so any vibration that goes through the engine, I get in the car. My ball joints are all in good shape.
Anyone else have an idea?
