Thats illegal BTW. At least here in CA. Thats why your not allowed to drive with earphones on. The reason is because you can't hear emergancy vechicals...

That's why I don't understand why they let deaf people drive (for safety purposes).

That's what the flashing lights are for!!
BTW -- it only helps a little, and you can still usually hear the other person
(until they start screaming then you just ignore them, and/or ask them why they had to go THIS way).

I got my Mom to wear "plugs" on/for a 10 1/2 hr drive from Youngstown, OH to Charleston, SC.
She didn't even bother me about the speeding till on the way back!

I need one when I'm on the track. The in-helmet sound is just too much to bare sometimes. It's drives me crazy and takes my concentration away.

For anyone that shows up to the Expo, I will give you a ride in my R. Then you can appriciate what a good set of ear plugs can do for your hearing.

Makes you wonder why they haven't banned super loud stereo systems inside the car yet...yeah, yeah, they do have noise laws on them, but if the windows are up and it's not too ridiculously loud...I can still hear sirens w/ mine blasting though....

I think you should get a plug for your vagina.

How can you not LOVE the sound of your car's engine. Shame!

hence the reason you get stereo tickets. Not only for it being loud and disturbing the peace, but also for safety reasons.

I know the ITR is loud. But earplugs, c'mon. The estrogen-meter on this board has hit an all time high! Anyone who thinks you need earplugs for a buzzy little Integra has never ridden in a '69 440 six-pack Road Runner with open headers. Now that calls for earplugs!! Not a 4 banger without insulation mats!

It's not that the car is that loud, but after several hours you begin to wonder if you're "hearing things".

That's what I'm talking about H-pimp~!

Or how about a 12.2:1 compression(B16B piston) ITR motor w/ open exhaust JDM 4-1 in a stripped CRX. So loud. Echoes like a biotch. I rode around like that for a few weeks. But let me tell you it was FAST.

Yeah, at times you'd think this is http://www.womansworld.com instead of h-t! With so many estrogen-charged comments and posts that are up on this board! This board is a Type R board. ITR's are loud, buzzy cars that rock! They are not Miata's and they are not BMW's!! They're adrenaline pumped 4 bangers that scream to be wailed on! NUFF SAID!!!
