Teg brake failure
My integra brakes occasionally can be pushed to the ground, im guessing its the master cylinder thats going out, but it this doesnt happen all the time its happened 3 times with in the last month. Is it air in the brakes? Or does this sound like the master cylinder needs to be replaced? Thanks for the help
first check to see if you have enough brake fluid in the resoirvoir.
then check for leaks/stains from leaks and such.
next bleed the brakes, fronts especially well.
then if you still have a problem, may indeed be your master brake cylinder...

I am having the same problem. The other day a buddy ran inside a gas station and as I waited I had my foot on the brake the whole time and wasnt really paying attention, but I guess it went all the way to the floor as I waited. Well as i pulled out and to the stop light I mashed the brakes and there were NO brakes I just kept rolling I freaked, and then came to my senses and then pulled the e-brake before rolling into traffic. So got home and checked the fluid and bled the brakes still got the prob. Anyways I guess I am gonna get a new MC. But BE CAREFULL if you are having this problem and get it fixed or it could put you in a dangerous cituation.
yep..dangerous situation like comming off the interstate and trying to slow down on the curvy road that leads to the over pass...not fun in a stock, automatic car. Get the master cylinder replaced ASAP!
It isnt very hard to do. The new MC shouold come with an instruction page. Just remove the old one and you have to put fluid in the new one and bleed all the air out before you put it on. But like I say the new should have instuctions (or at least the two MC I have replaced have had them).
