Default quick ef radiator fan question

My radiator fans no longer kick on when theyre supposed to kick on; they also dont kick on when the AC is turned on. Now, if they don't kick on even with the AC on, wouldnt that mean that the fan motor is fried and not the thermostat? That's what I was thinkin. I know these things are notorious for shorting out right around now.

EDIT- wait, are you referring to the SRT-4? Or are you referring to the problems i was having with the CRX and how I traded it in originally for a 2001 neon, then brought it back? I know I had a thread going asking about getting an SRT-4 or keeping the rex, that's why i'm askin.

Test the fan first. Un-plug the wiring harness and use some jumpers to give the fan power. It if works, you have a bad relay or a bad thermoswitch (the one on the back of the block) or bad wiring somewhere.

i agree test the fan first, then check the switch on the back of the block and make sure that is ok. start with the easy stuff then go from there
