Default dist plug harness wiring.

well i finally got my plugs and now i am ready to make an adapter harness for my z6 swap. i did have a couple of questions about the wires though.

on the top plug (obd-1 Z6 wiring harness side):
1. white
2. white with blue stripe
3. blue with yellow stripe
4. blank
5. orange
6. orange with blue strip
7. blue with green stripe
8. yellow with green stripe

plug on bottom (a6 distributor side plug)
1. white with blue stripe
2. pink with blue strip (possibly a faded orange)
3. blank
4. white
5. pink or faded orange
6. white
7. blue with yellow stripe
8. blue with green stripe

I am using blownhatch's conversion harness so I think it will play out liek this.

top plug > bottom plug

1>?
2>1
3>7
4>3 (both blank)
5>5
6>2
7>8
8>?

so my question is; what what wire do i connect the yellow with green stripe too? 4 or 6 of the a6 plug.?

thanks for the help guys.

well i just did the swap this weekend and the suggested way above is wrong, hook it up the opposite way.

If you dont you will get a code 9 (cylinder position sensor) and the car wil not start.
