I personally believe i did well in this race....the outcome was expected in my opinion....

I was in the white Civic EX and the in-car view was my friends Civic Si...sorry the video gets dark and all you can see are the tailights and headlights....but you'll get the jist of the race...

P.S Enjoy! Hope this clears up the b16a vs b18b debate....bottom line b18b takes the bottom end...b16a owns top end..but keep in mind..by the time he was even with me..we were at the end of my 3rd gear....thats when i usually hit the 1/4 mile...and yes i do have an LS tranny....he's of course a little faster than me..but hey..b16a will always own a b18b top end (stock vs stock)

With the mods he has, he *should* be running quicker then a 15.8 in the 1/4 mile. Of course I have seen many Si's with I/H/E that can't break 16.2, so anything could happen. With only intake and header on my Si I went 15.1 @ 92mph which should be more then enough to take a 15.8 second car by the end of third. Again, anything can happen. Horsepower always takes over on the top.

 

he ran a 15.4 that night at the track....his trap was an 89...i didnt' run that night but my best is a 15.8 with a trap at 87....I know his car is faster for sure....but just wanted to show what a b18b with intake and exhaust would do to a b16a with i/h/e
