My race with a Civic Si
I personally believe i did well in this race....the outcome was expected in my opinion....
I was in the white Civic EX and the in-car view was my friends Civic Si...sorry the video gets dark and all you can see are the tailights and headlights....but you'll get the jist of the race...
Here are the mods....
00 white Civic EX-01 b18b, Intake,exhaust,clutch,flywheel
00 black Civic Si-intake,header,exhaust,cam gears,pulleys,clutch

oh yeah..sorry Tom...i was just posting hoping to clear up the b16a vs b18b rivarly....My take on this race....b18b takes it down low...b16a catches up...and catches up damn quick..but by the end of the 1/4 i'd say its pretty close...bottom line...they are both great performers..they just create power in different parts of the powerband...damn i should have gotten a gsr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've beaten a few Si's and lost to a few...no big deal really..i still believe the b16a and the b18b are equal performers....In the end...its the top end that wins a race....its what the b18b lacks....but i chose the b18b over a b16a because of the good midrange and low end power...

b18b has more torque than the b16, so I'm willing to bet that it was the poor gearing in the b18b tranny that lost the race.

i will agree..but b18b still has no top end..that torque is what got me off the line and kept me alive through 1st and 2nd...the lack in top end would have still killed me with a Si or GSR tranny...

the em1 pulls 15.7 stock....ne mods and u should touch him....i got the low 14s in my em1...and thats all motor...not very hard most si drivers either r hardcore and knwo whats up or don't know a damn thing bout cars
i haven't taken my car to the track since the 15.8...and the Si driver..he ran a 15.4 that night...pretty good in my opinion...His trap is 89...when i ran my 15.8..i trapped between 86-87 mph...

congrats on the kill but I think this is the wrong fourm for this type of post. Ya the LS pulls like a **** out the gate I remeber when my si was bone stock my budddy killed me 1 and 2nd till I got a couple of mods and learned how to drive heheheeh
