ctr pistons in b16 no rods strong enough for my setup?
I was just wondering if this is a good setup. I'm low on budget that's why I'm cheaping out on the block, and I'm gettin the head at a good deal used that's why I'm gettin it.
the head is milled, port &polish, toda spec C, toda valve springs, ferrai valves, toda cam gears.
in order to run the spec C cams I will need at least 11.1 compression, best is 12.1+
so I plan on gettin ctr pistons for my stock b16 block, I was wondering if I can just leave it as is or should I get rods and other stuff.
it's either I do that or run skunk2 stage 2 cams instead of the toda, but I really want to use the toda cams.
are there any other options I can do?? I can switch to a gsr block with itr pistsons to get 11.1+ but I don't really want to just throw away my b16 block if I can still fix the bottom end.
thanks for readin this

My experience w/ this type of set up is in a b18c5 (which obviously has ITR rods), and they are undoubtedly strong enough. I have heard that b16 rods are sufficient, but have no 1st hand experience w/ them.
