well i had my act hhss for around 6 months and put 4000 freeway miles on it, i dont drive my car hard maybe once every month. today after not driving my car for the past 3 months, i took it out to pick up some rims, i am driving slow like 10 mph and i hear a CLANK like metal on metal, i stop the car get out look at the car because i thought a rock it me, no damage so i start driving again. after driving 1/2 mile i get to a stop and when i press the clutch down it felt wierd, kinda hard and crunchy. i pull into a parking space and leave the car on..... i pressed the clutch down and it still feels wierd, but now its making a loud sqeaking noise. i turn off the car and turn it back on same thing wierd noise. so i press the clutch couple times and the sqeaking noise went away but the crunchy feeling is still there, after pressing the clutch and releasing for 2 mins the noise and feeling goes away. the car feels fine but i didnt want to take it to boost cause i was kinda scared there is something wrong. i let the car sit for 5 hours and i start it up everything is working fine but the wierd feeling is back, i reverse the car out of the garage, put it in 1st and the petal feels fine again. anyone have any idea whats wrong with my car? thank you for any help

 

Could possibly be one of the springs popped loose. Only way to tell is to drop it .

 

those springs pop out? if it does do i replace the whole clutch or do i put it back in?
