440 injectors and 12:1 fmu
i have 310 injectors right now with a 12:1 fmu, im stepping up to 440s and i want to know if i should still run the 12:1 fmu. jdmb16a, 1.5mm headgasket, 255 fuel pump, greddy turbo kit 31 greddy intercooler

not unless you like getting 10mpg.
with 440's you won't need a fmu at all, but you will need a piggyback fuel computer like a v-afc at least, if not something better like hondata.
you won't be able to idle with 440's and a stock ecu only.Ditch the fmu

actually, you can and will be able to idle those injectors (I ran 450's for 2-3 weeks with NO fuel management and it was fine). However, with the FMU you will be PIG rich when you are out of closed loop. so, you need to either get an AFC, SMC, EMS or chip your ECM...enough acronyms?

Well i cant argue that being that I've never actually tried it, but i can only imagine how bad that would be for the engine, runing that rich, Hell i have problems with my 310cc injectors runing rich at idle, but then again i have a very strange ecu that runs extreemly rich....
