Class B (Turbo 4cyl) Finals was another rematch Brian (XXX) vs Jason Hunt, Brian redlit Jason went on to take the win goin 10.75 @ 135 vs Brian's 11.2 @ 130
Class H (Hybrid 4cyl) Team Alpha Battle it out in the finals R/T won as the slower 13.22 beat Steve's 13.20
Class D (Turbo 6cyl) Was won by our Jetta going 10.80 @ 134 uncontested after opponent turbo rotary mazda wagon missed 2nd gear, funny that he was planning on spraying it but no luck
Class E (AWD) Was won by Terry (Incognito) in his Evo 8 becoming the Quickest currently in the USA running 12.41 and 12.42 @ 109mph

There was only 3 cars and a 93ish Prelude running 14.7-14.8 won that class.

Yes there was 200 1st place and 100 2nd place payout

 

There was no prize money for the awd class.

 

Bullshit there wasn't... Trust me $200 for first I know that for a fact

dude thats weak for the payouts in general for those classes, is it only becuase Atco doesnt have as many people on those events?busitng your *** for $200 heads up money isnt worth it , i rather go brackets and have an easier time and get $500 for winner, or whatever that payout was. i know it waas well more thna $200

 

When you put that much time and money into your set up, is it 500.00 that makes it worth it? I do not think so, alot of us in the class run it for fun, and to try and hit that #, or just for testing on a preped track. When you add up the cost of running even 500 does not do much, only when contigency makes it over a 1000.00 does it start to help. Most of us in the class definately do not run the car's for money, or we would be broke, and running brackets in a 10 second fwd, is just gonna tear more **** up than the money justify's. Bottom line, I dont think we do it for payout (That just helps), I think we just want to run heads up in a somehwhat organized fashion.

yea Jas , i hear ya on that , but money makes the difference to pay this stuff off for a broke *** fool like me with the sickeness of cars . dont get me wrong i do it for the love , but the money helps it too , it just pisses me off they payed soo little and brackets pay more ? i just dont get why?
but i wanted to get into the heads up , more fun , more exposure, better competition. . . well now that ill be running against big dogs like you im gonna get my *** kicked, but itll be fun this year

hey itsulivr6..i finally got hold of an cable connection to download your vids.What's that guy Brain with the 4dr jetta that was running 10s got in it?....VR6 Powered or 4 cyl?? that damn car is fast,cant imagine what he'll do with that set-up in a lighter 2Dr like a GTI.

Its a Bone Stock T72 powered Vr6 motor
