nothstar's cheapest is $80, I think. any other places I can check out? or is anybody selling theirs?

If its their Sabelt or Sparco 3 point, its well worth the $80. You wont find anything cheaper, atleast that I know of.

My guess is that you want it for autocross? If so, its well worth $80. It holds you in the car MUCH better than the factory belts.

 

As a rule of thumb, is it a good idea to use the words "Cheap" and "seatbelt" in the same sentence? That seems similar to "a nice thin helmet"...

 

I agree totally. This post is similar to those "Where can i find the cheapest helmet?" posts.

I for one, wont try to save money on safety equipment!!

I've got a blue Sparco/Sabelt 4pt harness I'll sell to you for $50 plus shipping from Arizona. I had it in my integra for a couple of months but I almost never used it because It was to much of a pain to put on and take off evertime I drove the car. email me!

 

I know what you mean about cheap seatbelts. but would you pay $300 for a 5pt harness? me , no!
I just want the best one for the money.

 

With harnesses you get what you pay for. I sell Schroth, Sabelt, Sparco, etc. The Schroth's are the most expensive, but there is a noticeable quality difference between them and the Sparco/Sabelt harnesses. The Schroth is a really nice piece. You also get Schroth's "asm" system, which reduces the risk of submarining when you dont have a sub-belt. Additionally, the Rallye 3 and 4 are DOT legal.

The Sparco/Sabelt models are nice too, but you definitely notice a difference in quality and durability. Thats why they are cheaper.

I personally have the Schroth Rallye 3 and its awesome....but a bit pricey.
