Anyone know how to get in touch with Brian Wong (b18c1_powered_si)
I think I've just been scammed by a guy in SF by the name of Brian Wong. He always insists on being paid up front, then sends some shady stuff. I paid for a 99 JDM ITR swap in January. When I finally got the shipment, it did not have an ITR Trans. It had an s80. Which could be either an ls or gsr trans. Worth about a grand less than what I paid for. He insisted I send it back before he sent me the right trans. Reluctantly, I did it. Now, it is the middle of may. I still have no transmission for the swap I paid for in January, and he won't return emails, phone calls or IM's. If anyone has any information on how I can get in touch with him, please let me know. Also, depending on how this is handled, I may be leading a lawsuit against Brian and his "business". Anyone else who would like to jump on board let me know.
u could call it what u like. i had trouble locating the inner casing. in order to get the trannie back to u. i was told this will be done this week. but then my friend lag on me as well. your abusive e-mails and foul languaged led me not to answer your e-mails anymore. i haven't scam anyone and wont bother scamming u. i am on here everyday. i took back a trannie from a motor swap that had gone out a couple of months later. i'm sure a few folks can vouch for me. the delay was due to me not able to locate the proper part for u. i could have not even bother taking the trannie back. but like i said i chose to. but your patience ran out. and i got tired of your abusive e-mails once again. when u have your trannie that will be the end of this story.
aight, quickcrx, u need to chill, im sure u will get your stuff that u paid for, brian has made many transactions and has tons of positive feed back. i have done tons of research and talked to people who have done deals with brian, and i have chosen to buy a swap thru him because of all the positive feed back. also, im sure all the abusive language u used did not help the situation... so chill, sit back, and have some
i have bought and sold parts w/ brian for around 2.5 years now . i have never had a problem with anything . i would not hesitate to by anything from him in the future
I think you should talk to him directly before making such a post on here.
He does legit business and I've bought parts that cost total around ~$5500 from
him and never have problem. He's not the type of guy that scam people. He does legit business.
I am sure there are other people on there that can vouch for Brian.

it took him 6 weeks to finally decide if he would let me pay for fedex to come pick up the trannie. and 3 pick up attempts before it was finally picked up. it took me about a month to locate a good inner casing. plus i bought new 4.78 parts and paid a friend to fix the trannie. i have a few folks that know about this situation. and can back me on it.

Dude, calm down a bit - I've dealt alot with Brian and I can vouch that he's legit, and I know a lot of other people can vouch for him also, don't worry about being done wrong or mislead. If he insists on being paid up front, thats how he does his business- I mean I wouldn't just up a dohc vtec head because someone gives me $100 bucks and I gotta wait for the rest, I'll get the full ammount and then do the exchange evenly, 'ya know?[for example]. Also he mentions he has to get the inner housing, not everyday someone just has an inner housing for a hydro b-series just laying around, and then it'll take time to install everything together, its not really something you rush, unless you want someone to hand you a tranny bolted together with loose bearings bolts and misc parts. I'm not trying to come out as an ***, but just calm down and have a lil patience.

well quickcrx38..i dont know brian...but it sounds like there are a **** load of people that do...and your gettin Own3d...hahahah
I think if you brought a lawsuit against Brian, you would be by yourself. If he was trying to scam you, why did he send you a swap in the firstplace? And then why would he try to scam you out of a "1000 dollar less" tranny? If you were as beligerant as Brian claims, I wouldn't talk to you either.
Brian is 100% standup.

Brian is a good guy. I know how seriously he takes his business. He would do nothing to hurt his reputation or someone else's pocket. You need to chill out. Obviously you don't know how to do business if your only way of communicating is by cussing at the guy. Brian is the only private seller I would trust with large amounts of cash. And for the statement about how he wants a full deposit first. What did you think? 20 bucks down for a complete swap? This is how the business is run, if you can't handle that, then go buy **** from the dealer and get ripped off.
i would have to say brian is the most honest of all the people i have done buisnus with. i buy parts from him even if i can get them some where cheeper just because i trust him. he's no scammer
Brian is one of the trustworthest guy around. Very helpful and very easy to work will. I think he is one of those guys i, as well as you, can trust with big ticketed items. You most definitely will get what you paid for.

I know for a fact Brian is no scammer. Like what Tonyxcom said.. You're *** will be alone in your lawsuit. He's a legitamate, and he doesn't sell crap. If you don't get your stuff right away, he has a good reason. All you have to do is talk to him. Brian backs up the parts he sel. You better tone down your crap, and communicate with people properly.
