Im about to install my boost and wanted to work on a pan not on my car, and have a extra one incase stuff gets messed up.

I bought a D16 oil pan off a 95 civic at the junkyards today, i asked for one for a 96-00 but he said that the 95 is the same thing.

are they interchangable or not? Does anyone know for a fact.

I plan on bloting it on then sealing it with Metel Silacone, so if 1 screw dosn't go in, not a big deal, i want to make it so it won't leak.

 

I'm 95% positive it won't fit.

thats the thing, no one knows for sure, becuase they look like the same size and same shape, so im not sure. the guy at the yard said i can return it if it doesn't fit.

Yes it does fit!!!

I am using a 93 oil pan on a 99 D16Y8 bottom end! It works great.

I know from my personl exsperiance.
