The Comptech site doesnt list the GSR as a model that their Type-R wing (w/o LED) fits. Is there are reason for this? Will it line up alright? Thanks

 

I don't see why it would fit LS\RS\GS and not the GS-R, the body is the same for mounting the wing. Possibly a typo?

 

probably has something to do with the fact that the GSR comes with a spoiler with the 3rd brake light... the other models have the 3rd brake light on the rear deck.

 

I'm not sure about the comptech model of the ITR spoiler, but the reason that my OEM ITR spoiler didn't fit my GSR hatch perfectly was because of the third brake light line that runs through the rear hatch lid.

I had to have holes welded shut and painted over on the hatch to make up for the lack of a third brake light in the ITR spoiler that I bought.

You will want to call or e-mail comptech and ask them to see if their ITR spoiler will cover all of the holes on you GSR's rear deck.

And just so you know, those holes that are left are a pain to deal with from what my autobody guy told me. They are hard to get to fill in and get smoothed over. It ended up costing me around $425 to get the hatch welded shut and repainted, if money is something that you're concerned about with this appearance mod.
