Default sweet mother of all that is mighty...............

just picked up my car today from the shop. it just got a jdm h22a put into it. dc sports ceramic header. it's definately a step up, maybe 2 from my si . i decided to get on it a tad bit driving it back (still need to break it in though ) but holy jesus does it haul from 4-8k it is straight out ballsy. i love the sound too, oh man, i think i need a new pair of pants. you h22 owners were right, it is a lot better than the si.

that is all, i'm just entirelly intoxicated with joy.

DAMn, are you serious?? I am pretty impressed with my H23. I wish my plans with an H22 didn't fall through. I was trying VERY hard to get an H22 but things just NEVER went right for me the past 10 months so I just decided to have my clutch changed on my H23.
Oh well, I guess I will have to wait.

But a new clutch, DC Sport header, high flow cat, and my BRAND NEW Thermal exhaust should hold me over until then.

Yeah, i use to think that my H23 was fast but after having my h22 i almost feel embarrassed that i thought my car was so quick. I love my h22 and wish i would have done it years ago.

Hey stockludesi,

How much did the swap cost all together (not including the header)?

but john, you live close to me, it's an si . i wasn't planning on tellin ya till i raced ya, hehe. but in all seriousness. it's a jdm h22a. it's nice, sounds like a race car since it's running open header. i was gonna go to fab up my exhaust. but i didn't get my check in the mail so i gotta wait a lil bit til i fab up the exhaust and make it sound right. good gawd is it a loud drone at 2500-3000rpms. lol

swap total was (off the top of my head) i think 3100-3200. i got a good deal on the header, cy, the owner of the shop bought my old motor/tranny. and discounted that from the header.
