Default Paint or Powdercoat??

O.K. I'm looking to either paint or powder coat my calipers, how much work is involved with removing them to have them coated? is it worth it in the long run?

Removing them is easy with a manual. Coating will be more expensive but also more durable.

I heard some concern that powdercoat may retain heat inside the caliper.. thats a no-no....
go with paint if you can clean them of grease and oil, theylll be fine.
powdercoating will be $20+ a caliper easily... and I believe they have to be disassembled of all o'rings and attachments.. lotsa work there and lotsa downtime.

brake cleaner/degreaser.
GUNK is a great brand if you can find it.

spray on and rub it into the crevices before it rinses/dries off
