Default Civic SOHC need opinion!!!

Hi,
I have a 1993 civic coupe and i smokes pretty bad. I wanted to know how garde is it to put a integra motor (do i have to change my motor mount or does it just fit in) Also i have one more option, ican build my motor (1.6 SOHC V-Tech) I want to know what kind of HP would I get by boring it to 1.8L, high compresion pistons and a after market ignition.

What kind of integra motor? I wouldn't bore a SOHC it would be better if you spend your money on the integra motor in my own opinion.

VTEC not VTECH, anyways you would need mounts and i would recomend just doing the swap to B18c than boring that sucker out. Or instead of boring it out, boost it!

search for "overbore" and you will see my thread asking about boring and such, its a little more than you think, about a grand and then you gotta get pistons and all that. no idea on power #.

I would like a GSR but its expensive when you have to go to school. I heard that just LS or GS motor in a civic do pretty good in the 1/4 mile i would like to know how harde is it to do a motor swap. Do i have have to buy new motor mount or does the motor just slide right in??

go for b18c1, alot cheaper than c5 unless you got the money to spare.

depending on what integra motor you go with, i would get a gsr either then building the d16. but if you plan to buy a b18a, you might as well build a d16 since you get almost the same numbers without the extra weight of a the b18a. hope that makes sense.
