i own a 97 hb and putting the 99-00 tails on it but im having issues with trying to get the "harness" of the mounting point.

Ive tried everything i could think of and still having issues.

And since i havent had anythign to eat today i thought i would leave it to you guys while i go cook some burgers and have some

what harness? you take your bulbs out of your 97 tail lights, remove those 4 nuts, and reverse the process with your new tail lights.

 

You should be able to take out lights themselves, and hook them into the 99-00 housing...

 

the 99 series harness caused probs on my 97 (blinkers turned off when i hit the brakes)
i just swapped over the 97 harness into the 99 housing...prob solved

 

wtf, when i put on my 99-00 tail lights.. there was no swapping harnesses at all.

swap tail lights, bam.. done.
