close one...
yah that was a close call i thought for sure that car almost hit both walls great driving by both drivers to avoid that crash nice to see no one was hurt and the cars came out scratchless
Well, bruce ran in that lane right before us and broke. He coasted all the way down the track and sat at the last turnout for a minute or two waiting for someone to push him off the track. As soon as kenny crossed the traps the car shot hard right and the chute pulled it back straight. From there it was kenny correcting back and forth until the car finally stopped. Gary Gardella's dad was watching from the finish line and said kenny spun right as he hit the spot bruce was sitting a minute before. I asked bruce what happened to his car and he said his distributor fell off. Well, I don't know about you, but on every honda i've seen there's oil behind the distributor that would consequently end up on the track, although he said no oil spilled out
Luckily no one was hurt and no damage was done. I think the officials need to pay more attention to things like that though as this could've been really bad!

Old guy any comments on this? I know it dosent happen often but it only takes one to bring it to the attention of the masses. And the next time could be the last time for anyone. And God knows we dont need that.-pdang
