are ebay strut bars and nuespeed different?
yes they are different. Ebay strut bars are cheap and weak. The neuspeed bar is very rigid and all 1 peice so that makes it even stronger. Save the money and buy the neuspeed bar... you can find them for $75 used and <$100 new.
Effectively the same thing. Unless you care about the way it looks, just get a cheapo ebay one. I promise you that you would not be able to tell the difference between a $25 ebay strut tower bar and a $100 Neuspeed or whatever bar...

Andrew, I've heard you can flex the ebay cheapos with your hand. With my neuspeed, I could stand on it and it will remain rigid.
That seems a LOT better to me.

Go with the Ebay strut tower bars.
Unless you are going with a 3 (or more) point strut tower brace you won't feel a large difference with any brand strut tower brace.
The money you save from going Ebay is better spent on swaybars, shocks, springs, etc.

Standing on a strut tower bar is a meaningless test. It does not see loading from the top or bottom. It would only see loading from the sides.
