Nasty Grinding noise, even when my car isn't in gear, any ideas???
Sup. I got a camber kit installed recently and ever since then when I start my car, there is a grinding noise that is very intermittent and not consistent at all. It happens at any time whether the car is in gear or not. On start-up, it chimes in a little, but usually doesn't happen when I'm at a light. Do you guys have any idea what it could be? It sounds like a metal spinning disc on a pole that isn't bolted down all the way and his hitting stuff around it. Thats the only analogy I can think of. Any ideas you have would be great.
Oh yeah sorry, some other stuff. It doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the camber kit being installed because its coming from the engine bay area. Just lettin you know when it started happeninig
Check to see if the camber kit is rubbing on something. If the noise started after you got it installed, it could very well be it.
If a shop installed it for you take it back to them. If you did it yourself check all around that area.
