anyone ever heard of an obd1 pr3 from a 92-93 xsi??? i called hmo for a p30 and he said he was out, but he had a obd1 pr3...is this a good ecu???

 

i have an OBD1 PR3 my self..havent used it because i need to go pre OBD if you want it i'l sell it to you for $10 less than they said..im in southern cali, PM me

 

i called hondata, and they said this ecu didn't exist

i have that ECU here sitting here!!!

well holy ****. how does it run?

 

My friend is running that ECU in his EG and I think the stock settings for VTEC suck cause it doesn't pop until 6k rpm, Get it chipped and you won't have a problem. ;]

well let you know when I hit vtec didn't hit vtec yet because my giving Low Oil light something wrong Oil Pan dented or something..

But it runs good..

so moral of the story is?
just cause they didn't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

Its a good ECU if you are looking for an OEM OBD I B16A ECU. I am sure it has its differences between the P30, kinda like the PR3 and PW0. Bottom line, it will run an OBD I B16 as good as stock.

 

but if hondata says it doesn't exits, odds are they can't chip it
