if you plan to attend the South Central Prelude meet this coming weekend (23rd-25th) in Austin, Preludes Of Houston will be departing Houston at 2pm . We will be meeting at an Exxon that is located at the corner of 290 & Huffmeister (past 1960 on 290). We will be leaving on Friday & returning on Sunday around midday. What do you guys do at meets? I mean really you check peoples cars out, shoot the ****, take pics, grill and go home. Doesn't that get boring. I'll be racing that weekend.

What do you mean by "what do you guys do at meets" are you refering to Preludes Of Houston or the SCPM... cuz if your refering to Preludes Of Houston, well then the answer is No. We do more than just that....... we go to show's, we AutoX, Road Race(track), 1/4 mile, Tech-time seminars, Garage Day's & some other stuff. Boring we're not. But if you're refering to the SCPM, well then yes that is what we are doing & if you see it as boring, well then more power to ya, have fun at the races .

What track and which organization do you road race with? I have not seen another Prelude at the track is quite some time

 

well, to be honest with you, we've only been Road Racing once at the Blimp Base here in Houston with the 2K3 National Supra Meet. It was a great experience that I would love to do again but there's no track here in Houston (other than the BlimpB) I've been trying to find a name or a # to contact some one about reserving it for a day, & host a Road Racing event...... but no luck so far. But other than that, the other stuff we do quite frequently. Where & with what Org. do you run with..... let me know next time you guys have something going on, I know me & my guys that ran in the National Supra meet, would love to hit the track again.
