Here's what im planning on doing.....
My brother did a swap in his 89 REX w/B16 and he has the d16 si motor just chillen in the garage. So im planning to swap the ZC vtec head and rebuild the engine, after thats finished, do pulleys, cam gears, camshaft, the whole works. I drive a 88 crx si, intake/cheesy exhaust. Then swap that motor, and take it down to Jackson Racing at have him hook it up with a supercharger. What do you guys think? Good idea, bad idea? How much horsepower do u guys think ill be pushing with, we'll say 8psi? What should i do? Thanks.

There is an SOHC vtec ZC motor. Not very common to come accross. They do exist though.

I hope you mean 190 at the crank?
I hope you mean 190 at the crank?
if you figure you get about 120 (high estimate) and run a jrsc on it at 8psi of boost, you will probably be pushing around 160-170 at the wheels, oscar can also dyno the car for you once its on, if its not as much power as you want go for the pulley upgrade and up the boost and fuel system
oscar is your uncle? right on, ya i have a buddy with the first supercharged svt focus that oscar did, i want to go up there for a dyno day but alas have no time between races and work
