Default please help quick, my AEM rubbed a hole in my AC line!

my AC stopped blowing cold last week so i just recharged it, afterwards i heard a very faint sound that sounded like air leaking, i traded it to somewhere by the IM, but couldnt find where, then i leaned on my AEM and heard it louder and sure enough it rubbed a hole into the line. now i have refrigerant leaking. what do i do! i know this stuff is terrible for the atmosphere so i want to stop it. is there any way to fix it or do i have to replace the line? thanks

this happened to me too last summer. there are two AC lines, a big and a thin one. for me, it was the big fat one. I just went to the junkyard and they charged me like $50 for the whole set of AC lines...i then swapped it out. If it is the thin line that you need, i still have it. I can send it to you.

pretty easy. you just take out your battery and disconnect it from the firewall. Then it connects to the radiator...took about an 1hr or so...

i zip tied the two a/c lines together so it provided a bit more space for the AEM...also glued a peice of thin carpet to the frame so my AEM wouldnt rub there either

alright i guess i'm going to start calling junk yards. i'm gonna send a little email to AEM, i'm kinda pissed cause there was no warning or anything telling you to protect that piping, which they should do.

you should just take out your a/c, frees up a lot of space around the engine, and drops a lil weight, i got about 40-45 pounds from taking mine out and my heat works better now too
