Default New shift light

Here is a picture of the shift light (one near the speedo) I have had for about a month now. It is very bright and can be seen fine during the day. The lights starts 1000 RPM before you want to shift. It is only three wires (ground, power, signal) and it is adjustable up to 12,000 RPM

Here is a picture on the Dyno with the car hitting the rev limiter.

Z10 motorsports is distributing them, Payn Technologies has them in stock for $99 dollars. 248 649 3966

Not 5 gear dyno run, I wanted to top out the car on the dyno for the photo op.

Thanks Mattj

Dropspeed is that the Rev-lite? I have one I bought a few months ago and still haven't figured out how to set it. Did you tap you tack wire behind the gauge cluster or what? I'm not sure if I installed it wrong or I'm setting it wrong could you give me some pointers???

Just a quick question.
Since the Rev Lite requires a 12V connection. I was wondering if i could strip an existing 12V cigarette adapter's wires and connect it to the shift indicator wires?

Note: the ciggy adapter has 2 wires, which one is which? thanks

Personally I like the one thats in your CC spot. What model is that and where can I get one? I've always wanted to do something like that but wasn't sure if it will work. Now I know it will, just need to know which model to go out and buy.

He's on the dyno, so no rear wheel movement. Would just be another 'safety' measure to keep the car from moving, along with tie downs.

So at the moment you have 2 shift lights? I would have never thought the Rev-Lite would be that bright.

Just for clarification, the Rev-Lite is the one on the steering colum:

However, I'm interested in knowing how he did the one in the cruise control location? What brand and model is that one?

I thought about installing my shift light were the cruise control button should go.

Did you have to widen out the hole any at all?
