why is 92-95 EX redline higher than the 96-00 EX redline

Default why is 92-95 EX redline higher than the 96-00 EX redline

Just as the title says. . .why is the redline higher on the 92-95 civic EX's compared to the 96-00 civic EX's

That is a good question...I beat some guy in a '97 EX cuz I revved out farther than he did. Plus I got the jump on him.

cause the head on the d16y8 is different for emissons
