Alarm+turbo timer: can i put a relay between the shock sensor?
I just got an autopage alarm with remote start RS-650 and want to run it with my apex timer. I was thinking about putting a relay on the negative lead on the shock sensor wire, and when the turbo timer is running, it opens the shock sensor circuit. I already know how to bypass the ignition sensor. Will this work? or will it weird things? and when the timer turns off and the shock sensor circuit closes, will the alarm go off? thanks
im not sure, but i would like the info you have on how to keep the alarm working while haveing the timer doing its thing. If you wouldnt mind

if you're talking about bypasing the ignition switch sensor: you should have the alarm's ignition input wire before your turbo timer's ignition output. Then you put a relay between the alarm's ignition senser input and the timer's output. hook up the ign wire on the relay normally closed. and on the coil ends of the relay, you hook one connection to the output of the timer and one ground. this way, when the timer is running, it bypasses the ignition switch sensor. I hope this helps, correct me anyone if this is wrong.
Anyone know how to bypass the shock sensor?

or you can just hook the ignition input to the alarm part to your accesory/radio wire. that wire is not powered for the remote start or the turbo timer. And that relay ides might not work cause the alarm will tell itself when it arms that the shock sensor is not reading right so it migh turn it off. Just try it it cant hurt though
this sucks...the shock sensor is so difficult to deal with. I want to just take it out, but then if someone bashes my windows outside of my house, i wouldnt even know about it...so its just something i want to have, even if its not sensitive. I have motormout inserts, so the car shakes like crazy, i guess ill try turnning down the shock sensor all the way down and see if the engine sets it off
