can someone give me some advice on taking off the rear hatch on my 94 teg. what should i do?

 

4 x 10mm bolts along roofline. Then lift hatch and hammer the trunk shocks out with a mallet.

 

before removeing it, ues a sharpie pen and trace around the hinge, so you can align it again when you install it.

just wondering? what is your purpose of taking off the hatch? putting huge plastic cover over it for drag??? saw this guy doing it once at the track, i wonder if he improve his time.....

yeah finally...well hopefully, i'm gonna get the door jams and trunk painted first then bring it to the shop for the outside
