Default ABS problem?

this is too weird. I washed my car, waxed it all good and nicely. then started the engine and realized my ABS indicator or the light was on. I was like huh? Thought maybe unplug the battery might help but didn't work. So I reset the maintance button and still didn't work. Through out the whole day I didn't touch any wires or similar to that. So I decided to go drive a bit maybe that might solve it but again... nothing happened but the light is still there. Why? Where can I check to see if ABS is okay or simple things I can do to see if it's just a flause? Thanks appreciate it.

i'm having the same problem right now..all of a sudden the light came on...when i turned off the engine and restarted, the light doesn't come on but as soon as i put it in gear and start rolling, the light comes back on. i was thinking of disconnecting the battery...but since u tried it..i guess it won't work...i also checked my break fluid level...seems fine....anyone else have this problem? and also does the abs really not work when the light comes on???

well i got mine fixed for some reason. at first the code was main: 6 and sub: 4 so i found out it was Fail Relay. So after all the wire checkups and signal checkups I finally got fed up with the light and just gave up til yesterday. I flushed out the fluid off the system but left some in there so I didn't have to pump all by myself. I say about more than half of the fluid came out. I then put everything back together and dumped in the break fluid dot3/4 and it disappeared again. Ever since the light just disappeared and never came back on again.

i'm getting FR Solenoid (short to body ground? / short to wire?) and Fail-safe Relay on mine... but its wierd. when its cold out, the light doesn't come on. when its warm or sunny, its stays on. if its cold and i drive for awhile.. then i park.. then i start again, and its on.. ABS shouldn't be temperature sensitive, should it?
