I need help installing a head unit into my car... i'm wanting to install it where the ashtray and cig. lighter are... has anyone removed those? if so, how can I get them out and get the area ready to install a head unit... I'm wanting it down there because I'm going to use the existing space where the radio is and install guages there.

Any help would be great...

 

Go to your local car audio store or Radio Shack and get a wiring harness and a dash kit.

Just follow the instructions that come with it.
