S2000 At Nashville Show
Despite what some had said about Precision Motoring's S2000, most if not who attended the Nashville meet today should have been very impressed! As the car intered the parking lot heads began to turn one after another. The exterior looks of the car alone were impressive, however the Vortec supercharger seemed to cause the most oohs and ahhs from the crowd. There's just something about a 6 speed, 300+hp, rwd honda when it's done right.

I for one was not feeling the VeilSide kit at all, just too many freakin lines and stuff in that kit.
S/C was nice and all, but I thought my friend's hardtop S2K was a cleaner car IMHO.
had to add this one too

And yes those are SSR Competitions on the NSX, 18" all around. If I remember correctly the tires are 225/40-18 and 275/30-18.

yep Neuspeed springs. I think he is going to switch them for kg-mm springs because it's sorta too low right now.

actually i already have a convertible cover, the part i wanna know about is the carbon fiber peice that goes by where the hood clasp is that hides all the radiador and bolts in that area.

You would think with all that money spent into the S/C he would opt for some better suspension...I think its pretty important to get a good stiff set of coilover/dampers cuz with the more power from the S/C you might want the handling to be up to par cuz I have a friend w/ a Vortec in his w/ Neuspeed springs and it feels rather unsafe w/ it since we're taking the twisties at a much faster speed much more easier than stock

same goes with the brakes...although the stock setup isnt too bad...once you get up in the triple digits which is not very hard w/ a S/C...you'll notice one thing for sure..the stock brakes dont cut it w/ the added power....

I'm talking about my friend's hardtop S2K in the pics, only mods on it are intake, springs, wheels and tires.

I've heard the best brake upgrade for the S is better pads. I like that hardtop S by the way...very nice car. As far as the veilside S IMHO I think it's a good way to ruin a really nice car, but that's just my opinion. I'm a KISS person "Keep It Simple Stupid". Don't like all the extra curves and lines.

i love these two cars, that veilside thing looks like an alien or something. their kits only work on some cars, the s2000 is much too pretty with just a lip. plus, just my opinion, i think putting a supercharger on an s2000 is a waste of money, hp may be 300 but you dont get that power until high rpms, thus making it not that much faster. if i had an s2000, someday..., i would save my money until a well developed turbo system came out, JMO.

Have you ever driven a S/C S2000? The quarter mile times are about a second faster (maybe more if you do a few other mods) So I think it is quite worth it. If you put a sequential turbo system on it then yeah it might be faster than the supercharger.

im not saying it wouldnt be fast, i think that s2000's are awesomely fast just stock let alone one with a supercharger, im just saying i would save my money for a turbo cause thats the way i would want to go cause it would be faster, but to each his own. and props to that guy, or anyone who has the money or will to do anything of that magnitude to their car.
