i hit a decent time on my street tires yesterday...
went to the track yesterday to see how good my car would feel with a clutch that actually grabbed...my little 1.8 stock block full bodied crx street car that was driven 73 miles from my house to the track went 13.006@111.96. after 13.006 my car was screaming at me to go buck off a 12.9 real quick, so i went ahead and went 12.91@112 just to satisfy the urge. stock gsr block all motor, full body....oh yeah it was on STREET TIRES .

Nice, what kind of 60' you getting and what tires? Any time I try to run my car on street tires I just sit and spin through 3rd. Its not a pretty sight.
shitty 60fts on falken azenis, 2.2s i have stock shocks so im getting pretty bad wheel hop...stock shocks are killing my launches, and i bet if my car had some dyno time it would be a little bit quicker as well...gears set at 0 and 0

either way your car must be running good.
get some radius arm bushing and tie rod bushings stops wheel hop, just get some integra struts too.
if your not in the 12s on street tires your not fast.

I'm curious about the setup of the motor? What compression you running, and what cams? Do you have any weight reduction, and was this with lsd? Very nice numbers for street tires....
yes stock block but whats inside the block and how much head work obviously not a stock gsr motor by any means. And how light is the car what have you done for weight reduction. Good times

its a crx, the only weight reduction is all the plastic panels and the passenger seat out for the track...oh and i hammered out all the sound material on the floor. its a stock block..all honda stuff in the block, no aftermarket pistons. yeah it was done with a ys1 lsd trans.oh yeah much love to my team truck for carrying my junk in the back haha
nice one billy
whish i could have been there to see it. for now stuck in the midle of the states ... smack max when u se him next peas

ctr pistons in the block, ported head, jun cams, type r manifold with gsr flange welded on (once residing on the head of jarrod silvers) no tuning, and on falken azenis.
i knew it! I asked compression because you said all OEM honda block, CTR pistons are OEM, but i wouln't consider it to be a stock bottom end. Cheers to you though, it makes much more sense now. As I said before, very nice times for just driving around everyday.
CTR pistons, best bang for buck! (buddy's doing same setup as you, can't wait till its finished)
