Default Anyone else notice grinding when shifting fast, after skunk2 shifter install

I installed it about a month ago, and i just got my car back on the road, and when i shift fast through my gears you can feel its not a clean shift, not like when it was the stock shifter. I mean dont get me wrong i like the shorter throw, but what could this be, this is on my 96 Rs, tranny fluid prolly never been changed. Let me know what you guys think.

You probably need to get use to the shorter throw. Your shifting is a little faster than your foot's reaction

Short shifters can really screw up a tranny if you keep slamming to each gear. The grinding noise is somewhat normal.

no it is not your tranny fluid. your problem is that because of the shorter throw, you are shifting gears faster than your left foot can work the clutch. just try to get things in sync a little better and youll be fine
