What is stamped on the block is B18A1 , and the tranny has S1 then 106 blah blah on it.

An I got a header that goes 4-2 and thats it, no 2-1, even though I was supposed to have the 4-1.

And that's all I got.

The guy says he's getting me the rest of the parts, but he also told me the thing had motor mounts on it too.

Any one want pics to verify, let me know, MY camera isn't broken.

 

By the way, the engine was covered in old oil, looks just like my dads tegra engine that has 140K miles on it.

well the b18a is definately before 94

an s1 trans is not a 92-93 gsr trans, its either an early ls,gs trans or a jdm trans but seeing as the motor is an early ls i would assume the worst. if the motor and trans are an original pair then that would make it a 90-91 swap and incomplete at that.

 

yeah seriously the b18a isnt obd1 its non obd so you got screwed there, the s1 is a jdm tranny from a b16,(wich i will buy if you dont want it ) but yeah that sucks i hate scammers, next time make sure he has a pic of what hes suposidly selling you.

The S1 doesnt mean its from a jdm b16a. It could also be an early b18a tranny cause they were called S1 also.

 

take his *** to court if he doesnt come through with every single little part u paid for. i dont matter if its "sold as is", because if hes committing fraud the "sold as is" doesnt apply, if he gave u a broken b18b then u cant do anything, but he gave u a b18a and he stated it was a b18b, which is fraud and the "sold as is" doesnt count because of the fraud. so i say take him to court for everything or at least tell him to give u your money back because some of that stuff is useless, or maybe to give u some money back. tell him u want a b18b and not a b18a, and tell him u want a 4-1 header, not a 4-2 header, tell him u want a real 92-93 gsr tranny, not a ls tranny, just stuff like that for every part that wasnt right. if u wanna keep the b18a and the tranny, tell him to give u soem of the money back because it wasnt what he said it was, if u dont want it, tell him you want your money back and he has to pay for any shipping, if he doesnt take him to court.
