Installing a Start Button in Ek9
You should definitley solder them, don't take a chance on having one of them come loose especially since thats how you start your car.

Well actually you put the key in, turn it to the On position, then you push the button and the car starts...
Here are some instructions (PS: I found these using the SEARCH button)

yeah dont wir eit up just to start with the push of a button. Ive heard of jack asses doing this (like my dad, who did it cause his ignition switch was bad)

I realize you don't start it up only with the button, but if the button fails you have to change the wires back to the original locations to start it with the key unless you just tap into the wires etc.
which in that case is pointless for the button if you can just start it up like normal.

Yes all i did was use connectors so if it does go bad i can just plug it back togather. but its a OEM honda S2000 button so if it has any problems then i will make honda fix it. i got friends that work there. but since i did it right i will have no problem.
use a conector for a floppy drive for a computer....¿ that didnt come out as planned......? i had a old computer laying around, and they told me that the harness that klips onto a floppy drive would work... and it did... but you should wire up a 30w relay.... heres a good site....

good site... it also has a way to add a second relay so it wont accidentaly grind your starter.....
