It depends, if I am wiring a harness for a radio I use crimp caps or butt conectors, for anything else I solder all conections.

Depends on what youre doing, radio gets connectors...alarm get soldered.

I'm solder crazy, theres not a crimped wire i my car. I'm sick and tired of working on peoples electrics when their wires are practically falling off
In fact, my Field SFC has wires which run from the ECU to the circuitboard on the unit with no crimps or plugs.
