Honestly, an intake is an intake. Yes, by adding one you will gain something whether it be noise or that extra few hp. You won't feel that extra 1 or 2 hp between AEM and Injen intakes on a fairly stock car. Now if you had a somewhat built setup then it may be the difference between 5-10hp but don't bias your opinions on power since you're not really gaining much on a stock 4 cylinder motor.

The injen cai kinda wraps around the battery before going into the fenderwell, while the aem kinda dives right under the battery from the start, so you hardly see any pipe at all.

So ask yourself, do you want to see a little intake, or a lot of intake?

Other than that, it's all the same. Manufacturer dynographs are propraganda, everyone outperforms everyone else.

95redlude your so wrong... How can you say that an the AEM or an Injen intake is only producing or 2 horse when countless of dynos runs have proved that there is a significant raise in HP. Im not saying they produce the 20 hp they claim to but I dropped close to half a second in my quarter mile time with just by replacing my intake.. they thats not what a 2 hp gain will do..So NO in intake is not just an intake..So what your saying is that if I install the 30 dolor intake they sell on ebay instead of buying a $200 aem they both are going to produce the same hp stock..LOL!!!! Listen to yourself before you give someone advise.

I thought he meant that there is only 1-2 hp difference between the two.

I like my Injen SRI. Good power and I never have to worry about thse freak storms we get here in Arizona. Plus I like the top end power the SRI produces.
Well good luck.
