The last couple weeks, my brother and I have went up to portland international raceway for the late night drags and have seen some pretty quick Civics (and some horribly slow ones) and I was wondering if anyone on HT goes to PIR? We were thinking of running his WRX (stock except for the removed intake resonator) up there tonight but the shitty rain/hail canceled the racing

 

we actually went up today hoping it'd be nice, but it wasnt

ended up seeing the matrix reloaded. went with a buddy of mine thats been there ALOT for the past 5 years. he has a 2 door neon that runs 15.0's consecutivly

next time i'm heading up, i'll PM you or somethin. hopefully the chevette will be running soon and i can bring it up

 

we were going to come up but it was snowing where i was damn stupid oregon weather, if you see a wrx with a blitz front mount then youknow that were there

We're going to try... My bro still wants to run his bone-stock WRX. We saw some kid in a SRT-4 who looked like he was just learning stick and we want to run him (he was running high 15s-low 16s ). The only problem is that I might be going up to Seattle or we might be going to a WRX dyno session at Matrix Engineering in Portland. I don't know... I'll keep you posted.

 

eww 15's and 16's in an srt4? thats horrible

we've seen a couple in the low 14's recently (yellow and black)

I don't know if my brother and I are going up... I went to the eye doc today and have to get glasses... plus i got my pupils dialated so light hurts my eyes like a bitch. We might be up there... Blue WRX. Me and my bro are the same height and look almost like twins so it shouldnt be too hard to find us.
edit: if my brother is running tonight: he might want to see how he does against an s2k

we went to the track last night, and got there about 7:30. it had just started to sprinkle so we left before we got in

went to the mall and saw anger management instead. pretty funny movie

 

yeah, we went there around 9 becuase there wasnt **** else to do... no one was there. but we met a WRX guy with a very nice blue wagon. I think his name was Eric not sure tho. Just got his TurboXS UTEC tuned at Matrix Engineering and he was pissed that the track wasn't open.

I'm from Vancouver I was planning to get my car there this weekend, but stuff just didnt get done in time.

I'll be there for sure next weekend to try and run some 10 sec passes, I just need a little more track time to get my Colt's set up back in working order.

Just look for the primered Dodge Colt, I always go run at PIR so you may know have seen me before.

If not, stop by and say whats up at the track.

I wanna run at woodburn, but I never feel like towing the car that far, I suppose I'll go to the next imports there when they come up , but I'll mostly just tune at PIR its only a few minutes away.

Hey I dunno about you guys but if you have been to Woodburn then I think you will agree with me that PIR sucks. The track is slower, the techs are ******** most of the time, and they measure ur noise decible rating. It's BS if you ask me. I went at the begining of the season and I'm done with that place. I had to put my stock muffler on to run and it ran a second and a half slower than at Woodburn header out. PIR is a waste of money. I believe the next Woodburn is June 14th, and I heard they are starting to run street legals on Friday nights.
