How do I Take off My Side Moldings..

Default How do I Take off My Side Moldings..

How do I get my moldings off my EK? I got JDM ones, tryin' to get them on, but can't figure out how to get the stock ones off.. HELP please!

You could take your time and take the door panel off and push the clips out or you could just pull the moldings off...as long as you don't want them anymore. I pulled mine off and I "bent" them...oh well.

They`re on plastic sliders, you have to slide them one way or the other, I don`t remember which, then they are free(assuming you un-fastened all mounting screwes ).

If you just "pull" them off, does that usually distroy the clips that hold the molding in?

you can remove the rear interior for the rear panels and the doors for the fronts. and for that lil section that on the fender, ur screwed, i just pryed it off. but it's only 2 clips so it wasnt too hard.

Take ur time! better safe than sorry...it sucks 2 make a mistake and mess somethin up

Taking off the fender isnt necessary. Just take off about 4 little plastic screws holding the fender lining in. You can reach in there and pinch the clips and they will come out.
