Default anybody using the Spoon filter?

I was thinking of changing my intake, but I'm currently looking at replacing the filter unit only instead of going AEM or something. For the people who have it, do you think it's worth the money? I kind of want to keep my stock box, which is why i'm looking at the Spoon, but it's pricey. Do you think it justifies the cost? Lemme know what you think. And on that subject...where is the cheapest place you've seen it being sold?

Depends if you want to show off the spoon. Otherwise the monster filter is exactly the same.

dont even bother with the spoon filter..just some JDM bling..I would get an ITR intake arm and use a K&N 2820 modified filter..with a comptech icebox or BSQ "icebox"....

I have the spoon filter and i don't think its does any better of a job then when i had my k&n filter. I suggest you go buy maybe a comptech filter, or a monster sport if you can find one.

get an ITR intake arm...like a AEM short ram or something, or are you referring to the stock ITR tubing? If it's the latter, I already have the ITR tubing and box...just not the resonator. And as for showing off the Spoon filter...i'm guessing it's alright to run it without the top of the box screwed on? My box is currently closed...should I run it without the top for better performance?

If you take of the top of the box it makes a nice sound. As far as power my butt-dyno said it made it faster, don't know but I liked it until I got my AEM. If I paid like a $100 for a air filter I would sure show it off.
P.s. Cheapest i've seen is on Ebay.
