i have a SS lude and i was wondering if i added a couple mods to my car, just basic mods....if the tranny blew, would it still be under warranty or would the modifications be the blame? thanks

i'm not sure, but i dont think you can add intake to your car without it violating the warranty, but what mods are you talking about?

ALWAYS KEEP THE STOCK PARTS!!! that way you can just bolt them right back up if something was to happen to your car. what are they going to do, accuse you of doing something to YOUR car???

Exactly..Always keep stock parts incase you need to put them back on when you take your car to the dealership

I already posted a link to the Magnuson Moss Act. Check it out. The only way it wouldn't be covered is if they proved beyond a doubt those aftermarket parts caused the problem. And if it's just bolt ons, I hightly doubt they'll try to say your intake blew your tranny

yea, good idea with the stock parts, but i'm almost positive that intake violates the warranty, but i dont think muffler will, unless you plan on doing header, and catback, i'm not sure about that
