I think it will also depend on where you live.

Actually, now that I think about it, the insurance may be on my dad. That would make more sense.

redlinex,

Try Allstate here in Vegas. They have the best rates compared to all the other major insurance companies I have gotten quotes from. I have been with them for about 5 years.

the symbol is how they rate the car..the higher the symbol the higher the insurance...the symbol on my RS integra is 13..i believe the highest symbol is 25 i believe...gsr insurance sux!!! that **** is too high for a damn small *** integra..on that note a big dawg escalade or vette is in the same bracket as the integra..so wack!!!

You're question in relative to whether you are an addition to your parent's policy or not. At the age of 16, I am assuming you are.

My brother and I both have 95 GSR:

My brother is 18 with 8 months of driving experience and is an addition to my parent's policy--> $1200 per 6 months.

As for me, 25 year-old with 8 years of driving experience, no accidents or moving violations within the past 3 years and under my own policy & insurance carrier-->$550 per 6 months.

Both are for comprehesive & collision!

Notice the big price difference!

actually at my insurance company a "big dawg navigator" was a little less per month than my 97 ls 2 door automatic (asked to see just for comparison, it's not like i need a suv but i thought it was stupid that a 40K used truck would be less than my car)

i say we start a insurance company for the common man!!! (and charge the big ***, car totaling, trendy, i just went to starbucks suv's the high premiums)

not another million post insurance thread =/

itll vary too much. call your insurance and ask. i'd like to know the differences between an ls and gsr too.

also theres some confusion about what class of car each is in. first i heard only the gsr is a sports car then i heard all integras are no matter the trim.

Liability and uninsured motorist only - 27 years old - 6 tickets... $85 a month.

For a 16 year old, I can tell you that they are going to rape you man. Ask for lube.

Location does matter btw...i had coverage in md for 167 per month and changed my coverage to be in ny...the monthly dropped to 117 and that was with the addition of roadside assistance.

I'm a girl and 22 though, so i'm sure rates are much higher for you.................
