thinking about getting a integra gsr
thinking about getting a integra gsr, but im not sure what year would be the fastest to get ? and does anyone know a site where i can get the specs and stats of a integra gsr? and how much is your insurenace per month? and how old are you?? thanks for your time
I have a 99 Integra LS and I think it is pretty cool. If you want a fast car, I'd say buy an old Integra for cheap, then just add a new engine, etc. I am 16 and I pay $800 every six months.
Well, 1994-95 have the OBD1 computer which is reprogrammable via Hondata if your gonna go that far into your mods.
I pay $952/yr. full coverage (just a couple of tickets in the last 3 years) on a 95 GSR. I'm 28, one of the few goods things about getting older is no more $2500/yr insurance policies, good riddance!

1. All 3rd gen (94-01) GSR's are the fastest.
2. In the long run, it will probably be cheaper to go with a 94-95 b/c they are OBD1.
3. Here's a site for you that has all the specs. You'll have to register for an account if you haven't done so already. http://www.team-integra.net/se...ID=43

If youre doing simple bolt ons - Id get a 98+ if possible. My personal appearance tastes lie in those. However, if youre going to get a 94-97, they are nothing that a comptech lip cant cure

I am 28 and pay 1250 every 6 months for a 98 GSR. I agree with the above. I am so sick of worrying about it getting stolen around here, I think I am going to sell it finally.

I have a 94 integra ls. full coverage is $740 every 6 months. They also quoted me $860 for a 95 GSR(almost bought one so I checked). If you are only planning on doing simple bolt on's I would get a 98+ gsr. They look a little bit cleaner with the new bumper designes.

Good start, but let me expand a little on this.
DC2 - chassis code for 2 door 3rd gen integras.
OBDx - on board diagnostics computer, part of the ecu, basically it allows you to trouble shoot problems
OBD0,1,2 - different versions of OBD
