Default Victim of Road Rage

Well, My car is wrecked. I suppose i should start the story off by saying that. I was driving on the freeway, going a lil above the speed limit in the fast lane. My car is a 98 white integra , oem kit, exhaust, nothing fancy a bit loud i suppose. Well this black eclipse comes swerving in and out of traffic towards me and then he tries to pass me but doesn't have enough room so he has to swerve back. I suppose he took this as me intentionally not letting him pass. So he proceeds to swerve in front of me and slam his brakes. I apply mine , no biggie. Then i regain to normal speed and he's way ahead so i'm like alright he's done, whatever. I was wrong, he slows down and cuts me off in the middle lane. I brake and switch lanes to the left . He cuts me off again and brake checks me i brake again into the middle lane. Then he does it a fourth time and i slam on the brakes and swerve but lose control and end up going across a ditch and onto the access road. Neither me or my friend were hurt thank god, i came very close to hitting a tree, My car is in pretty bad shape though . I don't think this would have happened to me if i wouldn't have been driving a loud integra. Maybe he would have left me alone after the first time, or maybe have just left me a lone because he didn't think i was trying to do anything.
Well cops came , a witness stayed and he came back haha. Witness i *think* agreed with my story, but I heard the other driver lying off his ***. So we'll see what happens, He didn't get a ticket or anything he came back like right as the cops were coming. I hope this gets resolved in my favor. If my car is totalled or not it really doesn't matter to me. I could live w/o having a fast car. I'm only 16 almost 17. No speeding tickets, only one minor bumper accident that wasn't my fault before this. Having a fast car isn't worth the risk. Just thought i'd share this story with y'all.

sorry to hear... so did the witness see everything that happened? like the Eclipse driver weaving in and out of traffic and the multiple brake checks?

Yes he did. Except its hard to see everything that's going on from behind. I haven't seen the police report yet though, that will explain everything. However, my car being "fast" looking, could give the police the impression that i was provoking him in some manner, which i wasn't but if that's there would totally screw me over.

You have the perfect witness... your passenger. It doesn't matter what you were driving. He endangered you and made you run off the road. He is at fault, especially for coming back several times to f*ck with you. Kill the b!tch!

What does having a fast car have anything to do with him trying to run you off the road?

You'll have to ask the other driver.

That sucks! That crazy **** should be in jail for attempted murder. One time brake check is assinine. Seeking you out 3 or 4 times to try and wreck you is criminal!

it goes to show you, when we're not out looking for trouble, trouble comes looking for us.

Some good guys get a bad rap for the stupidity of others. Sorry to hear of your dilemma. Glad that no one was hurt.
