Default B16 swap - throttle cable?

Hey, just finished helping a friend swap a JDM B16 into a 97ex.... The throttle cable bracket bolted onto the intake manifold won't work with the throttle cable from the 97ex, what'd the rest of you guys who swapped a B16 in do? As of now we're using the bracket off of the ex, drilling a new hole and bent it to fit better. Is there another bracket that can be bolted in place for a more permanent solution?

Deffinately dont get a 99-01 si throttle cable. It wont fit. I just did my b16 swap and i made that sad mistake. The si one is too short. An Integra ls cable fit fine for the b16. A GSR will NOT fit so dont make that mistake either. I went with the ls and its dandy.

with my swap i used 90 integra ls, because my IM is from first gen b16a. i dont know what manifold you are using... if its the stock 1st gen then try using the ls throttle cable... you might have to move the L bracket one space to have it fit perfect(thats what i had to do to mines)

sorry buddy but im about 99.9% sure that there is no difference in the US and JDM b16. maybe you should of tried a little harder with that SI throttle cable..cause it does indeed fit..

I have a JDM B16 and trust me there are several differences between the US and JDM models
I would do one of a few things
1-SI throttle cable
2-ITR intake mani
3- USDM Throttle body (JDM one trys to go the wrong way)
