Default Resistance after wiring resistor box?

Before I wired it up, If i can remember was about 7 ohms. After I put the resistor box in line it measured 12.7 ohms, is this correct?

7 ohms from what? stock? I know when I wired up my dsm's with the resistors (10ohm 10watt) the total resistance was around 13. what injectors is this with? If its dsm's then they should have a resistance of 3 ohms..
