Default Please help with rad install

I'm installing my new radiator from absoluteradiator.com and I'm having some fitment problems. I got the dual core all metal unit (the same one Kam is running) and when I have the radiator in the lower supports I can't get the upper brackets to fit. They are too far back by a half an inch or so. What have I done wrong? Will I need to trim material from the upper part of the radiator?

i just installed a new radiator on my si hatch yesterday after noon...the only wrong thing i think your doing is that you put it in totallly wrong, mine just slid straight in and everything bolted in perfectly restart it and make sure your fan or fans are on right then make sure it isnt being caught on your a/c lines if you have them and slip the radiator onto the bootom support bracket and pull it close to the top one and bolt the top in then make sure all your lines are on....it might help if you take your battery out and your intake off too if you have one because it will help you get a better view of the engine bay so you can see what it is catching on..it could be laying on some tubes or something....

Did you get a stock replacement or something more like mine? Mine isn't a Honda part, its aftermarket.

Well, finally got the radiator in and everything hooked back up after some (a lot) of banging. I filled it up and turned the car on and waited for 10-15 minutes and the fan never came on. The temp just stayed normal. Is it possible that my temp guage is incorrect? How would I check?

It has to be a hot hot day for my fan to come on. I say just drive the car...if you see it overheat then your fan might not be working, but it'll be fine. I'm sure your temp gauge is fine too.

Same deal here, my car can idle for 15 min and the fan wont come on, take it for a quick spin and it'll be on when I roll back up in the driveway. Do like he said and drive it around, listen for the fan when you come to a stop.
