i took my car to 3 different shops today and none of them wanted to install the calipers with the fastbrake's specR rotors. It seems they were intimidated by grinding the caliper brackets and did not want to take a chance. So if anyone who has done it before or knows any shops that has done the install in so cali perferably around the orange county area. please let me know. thanks!

i'm not talking about how to do it but a shop where to do it.

 

I doubt any decent shop will do it. If they do it, they're probably shaddy and won't warrantee their work. I wouldn't let those kind of shops touch my car. Find a friend on H-T and get him to help you out. I know alot of people on here will work for beer, including myself.

yah thanks for support guys. I figure i should just take it to my work we have a CNC machine but i don't know if it will work on the calipers. BTW what are the ITR calipers made of?

 

Find out exactly how much has to be removed. Then find a machine shop and take it to them. Machine shops don't care b/c they don't put the calipers on the car, so they really aren't liable.
